Rita MaryROBERTSPeacefully on Jan 16, 2017, in her 86th year; much loved wife of the late Ron, beloved mother of Penny and Mark, loving grandmother of Charlotte, Sophie, Richard, Emma and James, mother-in-law of Marcus and Helen, and sister of Marilyn. Funeral service Saturday Jan 28 at Llangynidr Church, Llangynidr, near Chrickhowell, Powys at 11am, followed by interment in the community burial ground. Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, can be made to St David's Medical Foundation, Swansea University Medical School, Kindly received by Doug Prosser, Maelgwyn Funeral Home, Kensington, Brecon, LD3 9AP. What a gem the world lost.


Rita Roberts was a dear friend for over 25 years. We were fortunate to be two of the many friends from around the world. We will always remember Rita for her love of her family, her sense of humor and her ability to throw a wonderful event while both cooking and hosting. We had the opportunity to travel with her and Ron. Her desire for adventure while fitting in shopping and finding great places to eat was amazing to watch and experience. She was courageous in that she kept going even when she was in extreme pain from her arthritis. Our hearts feel the loss of a dear friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Eynon and Roberts family as the celebrate the life of a wonderful woman.
