John HarringtonRIMMERJohn sadly died peacefully on 19th July 2026 aged 87 after a short illness. Devoted husband to Moira, loving Dad to Juliet, Lisa and Emma and father in law to Simon. Cherished Granddad to Grace, Leila, Theo, Esme, Lucas, Fred and Alice. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A service will be held at Cheltenham Cemetery and Crematorium, Willow Chapel, Bouncers Lane on Friday 14th August at 10.30am. Then afterwards in the Old Chapel.

Family flowers only. Donations to The Samaritans c/o WS Trenhaile Funeral Directors, Cheltenham

John was simply one of the best people I have known. He was kind, generous and wise. He gave freely of his time and his experience. My life would have been very different had I not met John and been given the opportunities that he gave me.

We will not see his like again. He will be greatly missed.
