SusanRILEYIt is with utmost sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Susan on March 14th, 2026 after a brief illness, borne with grace, courage and dignity, at RSUH.
Loving daughter to the late Joe and Betty, sister to Julie and the late Steven and soul mate of Ken. She was also sister in law to Tom, devoted aunt to James and Sara, their partners Steph and Dom, great aunt to Elizabeth, cousin and friend.
She will be sorely missed by all her family whom she loved and did so much for as well as the countless friends and colleagues whose lives she touched throughout her life.
Susan was a straightforward uncomplicated person and didn't want, and didn't do, fuss. To that end the family respected her dying wishes and held a private funeral on April 8th, giving thanks for who she was and what she meant to us all. In lieu of flowers Susan requested and even made her own donations to the UHNM charity for the HPB team in her own name via her sister Julie.
