Although Geoff had moved from Merseyside many years ago I remember him , my father's cousin, as a breath of fresh air, a positive and rather dashing figure when I was a teenager. On the few occasions I met him since, I enjoyed the conversion. Sympathies to the extended family and all concerned. My second cousin, Joe Riley, who sang in St Nick's Choir with Uncle Tom (one a treble the other a bass!) had hoped to be present but has to be elsewhere and sends his sympathies and apologies. Geoff's cousin Norman Riley (slightly older) is probably unlikely to be able to attend in this weather and again sends his sympathy and condolences
