PaulRILEYMr Paul Dyson Riley, of Baxenden, died on Saturday, May 14, aged 76. Paul worked for over 20 years as an assembly worker at Mullards, Simonstone. He then had his own milk round for the following 10 years, covering Accrington and Baxenden. Following this, he went bus driving for Stagecoach/Ribble Bus, where he worked for 15 years up to his retirement. Paul loved gardening; he had an allotment where he kept chickens and grew his own vegetables. Along with his wife Sandra, he enjoyed many foreign holidays to Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Zante in Greece, which was by far their favourite destination. Paul also enjoyed coarse fishing, and spending valuable time with his family and friends. He leaves behind his beloved wife Sandra. He is a devoted father of Jane and Mark, father-in-law of Brian, Lisa, and Louise, he is also a precious grandad of Joshua, Harrison, Macauley, and Elliott. The funeral was held on Wednesday, May 25, at Accrington Crematorium, led by Kathy Unsworth.
