It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Betty Richardson on Friday 25th September 2026, aged 89 years.
A dearly loved and treasured woman whose kindness, warmth and love touched so many lives.
Loved always and remembered forever, Betty is the adored wife of the late Thomas, a devoted mother to Peter, Brian, Sylvia, Derek and Angela. Amazing nanna to 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will take place at Saltwell Crematorium on Friday 9th October at 12.00pm. All are welcome to join the family for refreshments and to celebrate Betty's life at Gateshead Fell Cricket Club.
Family flowers only please, with donations welcomed in memory of Betty to The British Heart Foundation if so desired.
A beautiful soul whose love and light will remain in our hearts forever.
