Alec SidneyRHODESAged 84 years, passed peacefully away on Wednesday 27th November 2019, after a period of ill health. He leaves his wife, of 62 years Jean, his two sons, his three grandchildren and his two great grandchildren. He brought love, warmth, optimism and happiness to the family, and will be sorely missed. He had enjoyed a working life in construction and civil engineering and for the last 20 years a happy, comfortable and social retirement pursuing many interests and hobbies, in particular Pembury Bowls Club. The funeral is to take place on Monday the 16th December 2019 at 1.00 p.m. at Kent and Sussex Crematorium. He spent the last few days being cared for by the kind people at the Hospice in Weald, with the family preferring donations to be made to this caring organisation as opposed to floral tributes.
