It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beautiful and cherished mother, Maureen, who sadly passed away at the age of 81.
Maureen was a kind, caring and gentle soul whose warmth touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to have known her. She had a heart full of love and was always thinking of others, regularly supporting charities and helping those in need in whatever way she could.
Above all else, her family was her greatest joy and the centre of her world. She loved her five children dearly: Stephen, Melanie, Joanne, James, who sadly passed away two years ago, and her stillborn daughter, Diana. She also adored her grandchildren, Isaac, Evan, Freya, Jaxson, Meghan, Stephen, Louise and Kimberley. She loved them all deeply and took immense pride and joy in watching them grow.
Her love, guidance, kindness and unwavering support will remain with her family forever. She had a special way of making everyone around her feel loved, valued and cared for, and her beautiful spirit will never be forgotten.
Maureen leaves behind a lifetime of precious memories that will be treasured by her family and all those who knew and loved her. Though she is no longer by our side, her love will live on forever in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, family and friends.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved and always remembered for her wonderful sense of humour, her zest for life, her kindness and her incredible bravery.
Rest peacefully, Mum. You were truly one of a kind, and we were so blessed to have you. You will be loved and remembered forever.
