JeanetteREAPeacefully in hospital with her husband and niece by her side on 13th May 2019, Jeanette, aged 79 years, of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted and much loved wife of Thomas, much loved sister of Ken, Tom, Ivan, Maureen and twin sister of the late Derek, and loving auntie and friend to many. Jeanette started her working life in the Mill as a weaver and later worked at Asda and then at the Wells food factory in Gt Harwood for over 27 years before her retirement. Special memories were made on holidays with her husband Tommy, especially on river cruises and coach trips. In her spare time, Jeanette enjoyed knitting and reading books, as well as Saturday night at the Conservative Club playing bingo and watching the turn. The funeral service to celebrate Jeanette's life will be held on Tuesday 21st May 2019 at Accrington Crematorium at 2.20pm.
