CarolPOWRIEand family would like to thank all relatives, friends, neighbours and work colleagues. for their continued support, many cards, kind expressions of sympathy and many happy stories which reflect Alan's character and life. Special thanks to the medical and nursing staff at Cornhill Macmillan Centre, to wards 3 & 4 PRI and to Dr Shackles and the district nurses for all their care and kindness, to Barbara Millar for helping us celebrate Alan's life in a very warm and individual way, to Andrew Pennycook and staff at James McEwan and Sons for their help with the arrangements and to all those who paid their respects to Alan at the crematorium and for their generous donations amounting to ?1050 which will be divided between Cornhill and Marie Curie.
