Roy CambraiPICKETTIt is with sadness we announce that on Tuesday 2nd December 2025, at The Diana Princess Of Wales Hospital Grimsby, after a long illness, Roy aged 88 years, passed away with his daughters Karen and Kathryn by his side. A much-loved husband of the late Rosemary and father to the late Iain. Treasured stepdad of Christopher and Laura. Adored grandad of Stacey, Callum, Iain, Ryan, Tina, Olivia and Alex. Cherished brother of Barbara, Graham and Mervyn. A father-in-law, brother-in-law and great grandad. Roy was a good friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to express their thanks to the carers from Blossom Home Care and to all the NHS staff for the care and compassion shown to Roy over the final few days of his life.
A service to celebrate Roy's life will be held at Great Grimsby Crematorium on Tuesday 30th December at 12:45. The family have requested formal attire.
By request, family flowers only. However, donations in Roy's memory will be made to St Bernard's School Louth which was previously attended by Roy's late son Iain. A donation box will be present at the service.
