TrevorPENNINGTONTrevor Pennington was the longest serving Councillor in the District Councils history for South Hams being elected in 1973. Parish Councillor for Marldon and a Devon County Councillor.
Not only was he a committed and faithful Councillor and a political and economic expert, he was a flatcoat retriever lover, showing and judging dogs in the UK and overseas.
A devoted Husband to his late Wife Kath. Father to Wendy & Nick (Dec'd) and Grandpa to Adam, Jasmine & Samantha, who he adored.
We can all be rest assured that Trevor Pennington left a mark on this earth and served his purpose along with a voice extremely loud that people won't forget in a hurry. (Nor will they forget his comical appearances in the village panto. Normally dressed as a dog).
We will all miss his gentle nature, drive for life, outstanding work ethic. His passion for helping the community and him never backing down to what he believed in.
All friends, colleagues and acquaintances past and present are welcome to St. John the Baptist Church, Marldon, on Saturday 4th November at 11.30am to celebrate the love and life of this wonderful true gentleman.
Family flowers only please.
