GillianPAYNEFormerly of Dipton and Sydney Australia.

Peacefully at home with her loving husband by her side. On Thursday 30th July 2026 aged 64 years. Gill, beloved wife of Tom, loving mother of Angela and a much loved step mother of Matt and Chris. Gill will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends.

Please meet for funeral service at St Luke's Church Newcastle on Wednesday 2nd September at 10:00 am followed by committal and farewell at the West Road Cemetery for 11:30 am.

Floral tributes can be sent to Co-op Funeralcare Benwell or donations if so desired can be made to Open Doors.

Gill has been my friend for over 50 years, and I will miss her greatly. We have shared many happy memories with exciting adventures of shared travels with our husbands both here in Australia and around the UK. To Tom and the family, both Bob and I offer our sympathy for your profound loss.

I’m so sorry to see the very sad news of Gillian. I worked at Northern Rock Clayton Street with her and actually attended her wedding. Condolences to her husband, and very much so to her daughter, Angela.
