ChristinePARRISHof Morpeth, passed away peacefully on Wednesday 15th April at the age of 80 years.
Christine was born on 3rd of May 1945, she grew up on her family farm in Stannington and attended Craigmount School, Scotland. After finishing school she was proud to work as an Air Hostess for Britannia Airways for a time before dedicating her time to being a homemaker. Christine was incredibly social, an accomplished cook and hostess and she also took pride in keeping active and healthy. She was proud of her family, loved to connect with friends, do yoga and read.
Christine is survived by her sons Matthew (Heather) and Mark (Helen) Parrish; her granddaughters Hannah, Sophie, and Lucy; as well as her brothers Robson (Julie), and Richard (Rose). She is predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years, Mike Parrish.
Funeral service will be held at Mitford Church on Thursday 30th April at 1.00pm with a reception at Morpeth Rugby Club to follow.
The family request donations in lieu of flowers to be made to the Alzheimer's Society, UK.
