JamesPARKINSONOf Rushes Farm Close, Oswaldtwistle, passed away peacefully on Saturday 28th March 2026, aged 91 years.

A dearly loved husband of Doreen, a much-loved father of Stephen, Karen, Graham and the late Paul and Mandy, also a treasured grandad and great grandad. James will be very sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11.40am, on Friday 10th April 2026, at Accrington Crematorium.

Family flowers only please, with donations in memory of James are being welcomed for the Alzheimer's Society.

God bless you Jimmy. You were a true Gentleman! I will treasure always our trip to the bar in Valence 🇫🇷 whilst Doreen, Karen and my wife Anna were in the supermarket. Where you recounted your childhood in Clayton Le Moors, how people kept chickens in their gardens etc! It was a lovely couple of hours we had there over a few different European beers! May God rest your soul Jimmy, you were really were one of life’s good people. Love from Terry and Anna in France.
