DoreenO'ROURKEof Queens Drive, Oswaldtwistle, passed away on November 29, aged 89 years. Doreen was a secretary until marriage, then became a housewife. She enjoyed reading, crosswords, knitting and sewing. Wife of the late Vincent O’Rourke, mother to Paul, Gillian, Mark and Jonathon. Her funeral will be on Wednesday, December 14 at Accrington Crematorium Chapel at 1.40pm, conducted by David Ireland. This will be followed by a burial at Accrington Cemetery at 2.20pm. Family flowers only, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society c/o Hyndburn Funeral Services, Queens Drive, Accrington.
