Patrick JosephO'CONNORPassed away peacefully on 23rd June 2025 aged 76 years.

Much loved dad to Martin, Sarah and Helen, Patrick will be sadly missed by all his family and friends near and far. This won't be a sombre occasion. In his words 'It's ok to be sad but I want everyone to get together and have a party!' He wanted us to come together not in mourning, but in celebration of his life - to share stories, reflect on memories, sing songs and raise a glass in his honour.

Funeral Tuesday 15th July 2025, service 11.30am at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston on Trent.

Family flowers only please, donations in memory payable to 'Marie Curie' or 'Oldies Club Dog Rehoming' may be given at the service or online.

Patrick was a friend and neighbour of ours. He was one of the first people to speak to us when we moved in, once he found out I was Irish he took me under his wing and always made time for me and my daughter. He was a kind, considerate man, he would always make time to talk to us and always had a story to tell! He was very proud of his Irish roots and was kind enough to give me a copy of his poetry book which he co-wrote. He will be sadly missed, the Close won’t be the same without him. Erin and I will miss you. RIP
