Uncle Pete will always illicit fond memories of our short stint living in Lytham St Annes. Teresa and I saw him regularly and we spent many a conversation over a pint in the surrounding pubs. I don't think he ever really approved of Teresa drinking a pint :-) It was not "lady like" We missed him dearly when we moved back to SA and he is forever in our hearts. RIP Uncle Pete.

A dry wit, quiet sense of humour, ardent Lancs cricket supporter, aficionado of politics and loved his local and his daily newspaper read. Uncle Pete also ‘discovered’ Helen Mirren well before her star shone. RIP xxxx
