Dad, I am truly heartbroken that you are no longer here .
However , no matter how sad I am I have always got my memories of you which I shall cherish all my life . People who know me will know that I have always been a “daddy’s girl” and idolised you dad .
Despite your illnesses through your later life you fought each one with steely determination but it was the vascular dementia that defeated you in the end .
I will always remember you dad as someone who was strong, devoted to his family, generous and humorous .
I could write many a story dad about you but I haven’t enough letters left on here !!
So to you dad I just wanted to say thankyou for always being there for me , for being my rock , my advisor , my absolute hero .
I love you with all my heart . Thankyou so much for being you .
Sleep tight now dad .
God bless , as you would say and ruffle our hair .
Amanda steve and katie xxx
