John SearsMURRAYMarcia, and all John's family, would like to thank everyone for the hundreds of cards, emails, and letters of condolence we received following his death on May 20th. We would also like to say a big thank you to Dr Nwe Oo and her team at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary Haematology Clinic for the many years of care they gave to John and to Locala Holmfirth district Nurses, particularly Joanne, whose sensitivity will never be forgotten. Thanks also to Gwen from Radcliffe Funeral Service of Honley and Reverend Tim Moore for his unfailing kindness. Finally, we were particularly moved to see so many of our neighbours and John's friends from Trinity Church, from Honley Village Community Trust and from Honley Petanque Group lining the streets of Honley to clap as the funeral cortege passed. What a wonderful send off. John would have loved it and been highly honoured. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him. --
