WalterMULLINSRees(30.11.1933 - 02.04.2008 It is with great sadness that the family announce the death of Walter who passed away with courage and dignity at Prince Charles Hospital. Walter was the devoted husband of Marion, his beloved wife of 55 years, loving father to Martin and father-in-law to Melanie and devoted grandfather to Jordan and Joshua, brother-in-law to Shirley. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Prince Charles Hospital for all their help, support and kindness. Special thanks to Dr Rahim, Jahanna and the staff at the Hollies Health Centre for their wonderful care over all the years. Sincere gratitude to family, friends and neighbours for all their help, messages of sympathy, cards of condolence and floral tributes. A very special thank you to neighbours Asifa and Ali for the support and kindness they have shown Walter over the years. To Denise and all our friends who helped and encouraged Walter on the many happy and memorable days spent at Cyfarthfa Park, a very special message of thanks. Thanks to all those who attended the funeral at the Parish Church and Llwydcoed. Sincere thanks to the bearers Mark McCarthy, Jason Woodington, Ken Evans, Robert Donovan, Leslie Hyde and Elton Phillips. The presence of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers Old Comrades Association and the Malaya and Borneo Association was greatly appreciated, providing a fitting tribute to Walter's own pride being one of their comrades.
