UrsulaMORRISOn 9th February 2019, Ursula, aged 85 years of Accrington, peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family. Devoted wife of the late Michael, much loved mum of Kenny, Diane, Michelle, Marie, Michael and the late Craig. Mother-in-law to Sue, Zoltan, Mark, Lorraine and the late Christopher. Cherished nanna of Kelly, Matthew, Samantha, Emma, Lloyd, Jordan, Jack, Tom, Eric, Hayley, Lucy, Bradley, Simone, Tanya, Josh, Leon, Laura, Stephanie and a loving great nanna to many great-grandchildren. She was also a much loved relative and friend to all she knew. Ursula began her working life as a weaver before moving to work the night shift at Holland's Pies and then becoming a housewife. She loved her home and her family were her life. Every Saturday she would be surrounded by all her family and make dishes such as potato pie or broth, homemade rice pudding, trifle or apple pie for everyone to enjoy - This was her family tradition. Thursday night was chippy night whilst watching Little House on the Prairie. A talented sewer and knitter, Ursula would make the children's clothes and dance dresses. She was also artistic and would enjoy writing lovely poetry while spending a lot of time in her craft room. Ursula was a beautiful singer as well as being a talented flower arranger, she made her daughter's wedding bouquets as well as other flower arrangements for family events. The family attended many parties at the Old Band Club and King St WMC. Ursula and the late Michael did everything together, they were both lifelong members of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints. Ursula's Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, 20th February 2019 at Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Road, Accrington, BB5 6HA at 2.20pm.
