Dear Grandad

There is almost too much to say with so little words to describe it all. You have always been there for me alongside Nanna, for advice and comfort. Many a time you'd sneak me a few boiled sweets almost like a secret farewell gift. We'd share a love for pocket watches, always bringing a smile when I'd share a new collection piece to show you.

Family was always important, no matter how fractured it became around you. Despite troubles across all sides, you where always the pillar supporting us all.

One thing is guaranteed you'll be remembered for loving cars and keeping them clean. Heaven forbid if you visited with a slightly dirty car! You provided us with invaluable knowledge when choosing cars, alongside being proud of my Qashqai (As you nicknamed it Squashy).

So I wanted to show my gratitude, for everything and all those little things we will all remember you by. I'll miss you, as you rest no doubt having a shandy.

With love from your grandson
( and IT Support)

Brian. Grandad. The legend.

The long conversations we had. The quiet ones too!

A man of many trades, need a tool? He had that and could help.

The passion and love for his cars. Keep it clean and care for it!

Constantly cracking jokes and always a smile that could light up a room.

Thankyou for giving your blessings. You know what for.

Thankyou for trusting me with your beloved car it was an honour to know you knew I'd take care of it as you did.

The final laughs, the final jokes. The last smile.Whilst a tough experience they will forever be memories to treasure for a lifetime

Promises to keep. Promises to honour.

Forever in my heart and mind!

Goodnight godbless

Brian,
I'm really going to miss our chats about our cars and things we've both achieved,
I Just wanted you to know the promise I made to you years ago, that promise was to always care for both my lovely wife Pauline and my daughter Grace,
They will always be loved and cared for,
Night night Brian x

More than a father in law
I remember the first time I came to your door. I was so nervous.
Then in your garage you gave me permission to marry your first born daughter. Thank you for letting me call you dad and you called me son you will always be remembered with love Kevin.
