WinnieMITCHELLMITCHELL Winnie(23.10.1919 - 10.03.2008 It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Winnie Mitchell, devoted wife to the late John Mitchell, beloved mother to Veronica and Kevin, adored grandmother to Kelly, Gemma, Nadine and Ryan, great- grandmother to Nathanial, Jordanna and Tiaan, mother-in-law to Nick and Mary and loved sister to Vera. The family would like to express sincerest thanks to everyone who attended the Requiem Mass at St Mary's Catholic Church followed by Llwydcoed Crematorium and the Bessemer Hotel for the lovely buffet afterwards. Special thanks to Fr Michael St Clair who conducted the Mass with dignity and respect as befitted such a lady. Thanks to the Bearers Nick, Gavin, Jimmy and Keston who carried her with honour and devotion as they all knew her as Mum. To Michael Foley and Sons for the professional caring service they provided which was carried out with decorum and respect, our thanks to all our family and friends for the wonderful floral tributes, messages and cards of sympathy received, Winnie would have been overwhelmed. On the same note thanks to Flowers by Joy for the excellent floral displays. Veronica and girls would like to say a heartfelt thanks to all the staff on Ward 20, Prince Charles Hospital who looked after Winnie with special care for the support to us all during her illness and at the end at her passing. We will always be grateful to them. For all who knew Winnie they would have known her as a special, loving and friendly lady that she was, she will be greatly missed by us all and never forgotten, she has left a big hole in our lives but she is now together again with her one true love John. The tears in our eyes we wipe away, But the pain in our hearts is here to stay. Goodnight and God bless, always and forever. x
