John's Funeral service is to take place
at Thornton Crematorium
on Wednesday 12th August at 12:00pm, followed by a celebration
of Poachers life which family and friends are warmly welcome.

God bless John the poacher, Mr Middlehurst. A big red with a big heart. Phenomenal gardner. Good times and great memories. Loved by all. Miss Scarletts favourite uncle. Thank you for always being there for us.

R.I.P John the Poacher, lovely fella & a great Red. I'll never forget that you made sure my lad was OK when he sat next to you for his 1st time on the Kop, it meant everything to me. & I know he still remembers it to this day.
