DorothyMERRICKSIt is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mrs Dorothy Merricks, aged 81 years. She passed away peacefully at home on the 21st of August 2026.
She is survived by her partner Albert, daughter Julie, grandaughters Victoria, Natalie and Jorden and great grandaughters Penelope and Harper. She was the beloved wife of the late Alan Merricks, mother to the late Andrew Merricks and Nanna to her late grandson Austin Merricks, all taken too soon.
Would family and friends please meet at St Oswald's Church, Althorpe, on Monday the 21st of September 2026 at 12pm for service, prior to a private interment for family and close friends at Woodlands Memorial Park, Scunthorpe. Mourning dress is not necessary, a splash of colour or wear a flower in memory of Dorothy.
