ElizabethMCVITTIE(MOOTIE), died 5th December 2009, following a short illness at Wishaw General HospitalA much loved mum to Catrina, mum-in-law to Tam, best gran in the world to Connor and Robbie, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to many.We sat beside your bedside, our hearts were crushed and sore,We showed our love to the end,Till we could do no more,In tears we watched you sinking,We watched you fade away,Although our hearts were breaking,We knew you could not stay,You left behind aching hearts that loved you most sincere,We will never forget you mum, because you were so dear.-Catrina and Tam.The gates of Heaven opened wide,The angels stood side by side,A special guest was on her way,The day God took our gran away.-Connor and Robbie.Catrina and Tam, would like to thank all family and friends for their support during LIZ'S hospital stay, especially her brother Charlie and wife Betty, her sister Mary and husband Billy, her sister Teresa, nephew Bobby, his wife Jean, her cousins, Ella and Elizabeth, all who kept a bedside vigil till the end.Catrina, would like to thank her husband Tam for the constant support shown to her then, and now.Thankyou also to Father Rodgers, St Mary's RC Church for the Funeral Service, to Medical and nursing staff at Ward 11, Wishaw General Hospital, to Dalzell Park Country Club for catering, and to Co-operative Funeralcare, at Wishaw, in particular to Julie for her invaluable support and guidance through this difficult time.
