The devoted and much-loved wife of Ian, loving mother of Jackie and Andrew, dear step-mother of Paul and Ross and a cherished grandmother of Madeline, Maximus, and Eva. Patricia’s working life was spent within Social Services for many years and she retired from her position as a Senior Probation Officer. Patricia was dedicated to her work and always gave it her full attention and was an extremely well-respected member of her team. An excellent ballroom dancer, Patricia always looked forward to dancing with her husband Ian, and together they competed in Ballroom and later became qualified Ballroom Dance teachers with the IDTA. Patricia loved her gardening, which always bloomed in full colour throughout the seasons. Patricia loved activity holidays, exploring new experiences and cultures, whether off on sailing or skiing holidays. Other interests included bowls, pilates, table tennis and flower arranging. Patricia was a true lady who always earned the respect of all those that she met and always prepared to offer sound advice to others when requested. Patricia’s funeral service will be held at Mytton Fold Hotel, Abbey Suite on Friday, June 25, 12 noon, followed by private family committal at Accrington Crematorium. No flowers by request.
