JosephineMCGRATHIt is with sad, yet full hearts that we share the passing of Josephine McGrath (Josie) on 16th August, aged 101.

A much treasured Mum, Nanny, Great Nanny, Aunty, Great Aunt, Sister and dear friend. The last of seven siblings of Holywood, Co. Down, who will be reunited once again.

Nanny will be so missed and her wisdom and love remembered.

The funeral service will take place on Thursday 18th September 2025 at 1pm at The Church of the Precious Blood and All Souls, Earlsdon.

It will be family flowers and anyone who wishes to donate, please make this to Macmillan.

Our wonderful Josie. There are not enough words to describe the huge loss we endure. You meant so very much to us all, you were very much family rather than life long friends. You called yourself Nanny Josie - and that you were, our bonus Nan. We all adored you, and Lennon for sure loved his visits and cuddles with you (along with a cheeky egg custard) Feeling heartbroken but so very thankful that we got to have you in our Lives. Give all our loved ones kisses from us all, and watch over us all. We’ll always be looking for you amongst the stars. Love you forever, Kellie & Lennon xx
