AndrewMCEWAN(Newcastle). Peacefully in hospital on 24th March, aged 49 years, Andrew (Andy), beloved son of Bill and Joan, dearly loved brother of Fiona and Linda, dear brother-in-law of Garry and a loving uncle of James, Duncan and Thomas, also a good friend to the late Syd. Andrew was a unique and special person, a prolific writer of poetry, fiction and whatever captured his imagination. He was very much loved by his family, friends and colleagues at St. Oswald's Hospice. Service and cremation to be held at West Road Crematorium on Friday 10th April at 10.30am. Afterwards all welcome to Benwell Hill Cricket Club to share memories of Andrew. No flowers please by request, donations if desired to St. Oswald's Hospice for which a box will be available at the crematorium or may be sent c/o John Grenfell and Son, 3 Front Street West, Bedlington, NE22 5TZ.
