AlexanderMCELHATTONOn July 13th 2025, peacefully at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary surrounded by his family. Alex aged 91 years of Cowlersley.

Loving husband of the late Christine, much-loved dad of Kieron, Heidi, Janine, Corrina and Steven, father-in-law of Vicky and Chris and a dearly loved grandad, great grandad and brother.

Service and Committal at Huddersfield Crematorium on Tuesday August 5th at 1.15pm.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to The National Trust for which a plate will be provided at the Service.

Dad you were my best friend through my life and I will never forget the times we had . The memory’s will last a lifetime and I’m so happy that them memories are left behind . Thankyou for been such a great dad you’ve left me heartbroken. But knowing your with mum helps me get through this tough time . Love you more than words can say and I hope I get to meet you again rip buddy xxxx

Alex, you were my father-in-law for nearly 20 years, and in that time, you brought so much laughter and happiness to everyone around you. You were Kieron’s best mate, a true inspiration to him, and a great dad. Your grandchildren, Lewis and Kiera, adored you and loved you deeply. We’ll all miss you more than words can say, but we take comfort in knowing you’re now reunited with Christine. Rest peacefully. ❤️

Dad, my heart aches at losing you, however, losing Mum was just too much and I know you are at peace and back in her arms.

You brought so much joy to our lives and you never complained despite the pain you were feeling 💙
