LawrenceMCDONOUGHMcDONOUGH - LAWRENCE (Lol), April 15, 2018. Peacefully in hospital surrounded by his loving family aged 84 years. (Today I said goodbye to my friend, my husband, my lover, my best friend. Thank you Lolly for my wonderful life, for my children and for all the good times we had together. I will love and miss you always. God bless my love).- Your broken hearted wife Linda xxx (Dad, Ours is just a simple prayer for God to keep you in His care. Goodnight, God bless).- David, Debbie and family xxx (Dad, I'm so grateful for the lessons in life you taught me. You taught us our trade and I'm eternally grateful to carry this through for the rest of my life. You're going to be sadly missed by us all DAD. Goodnight, God bless).- Your son Lee and Lynne xxx (Life will never be the same now you're not here dad. The pain in my heart is hurting and my eyes are very sad. I've lost my best friend and don't know what to do because everything in my life has always been centred around you. We would go fishing in the Mersey, we'd drive off with our boat, you trying your best just to stay afloat. All geared up and with our laughter and fun we totally enjoyed the Mersey's sea and sun. Our Cumbrian Fells drives out or any Horse Fairs that where about, we did them all, even from when I was knee high tall, we have shared a lot in our lifetime together, through thick and thin and in all kinds of weather. I know our lads will have met you and you will all be catching up, even John Birch has been waiting to shake your hand and raise a cup. Jog on dad, will love you and miss you forever dad).- Rick and Marie xxx (The hardest day of my life is to say goodbye to my daddy, but I know truly deep down you will always be holding me tight, looking over me with your cheeky smile. Some of the best memories you ever taught me was all the very best things in life and I'm SO PROUD AND PRIVILEGED to be your daughter, you always taught me to be strong through life, but I'll ALWAYS be a daddies girl cause your baby loves you very much. I'm going to miss you dearly and I want the whole world to know just how much you REALLY meant to me. So if I don't see you tomorrow, I'll see you through the window. All my love always. Goodnight, God bless).- Your little Maggie and Ste xxx Funeral service at St Elizabeth's Church, Litherlands on Friday April 27th at 11.00am, interment following at Bootle Cemetery.
