ThomasMCALOONOn December 26 Thomas (Tom) McAloon of Ash Lane, Great Harwood passed away peacefully with his family around him, aged 82 years. Tom was born in Leadgate, Consett, Co. Down in 1941 and married Kathleen Brennan in 1964. Proud father to Philip and Mark and delightedly happy grandfather to Charlotte. Tom spent most of his teaching career at Holy Family School (later becoming Mount Carmel) in Accrington and spent many happy retired years with his with Kath. A requiem mass will be held on Wednesday, January 17 at 10am at St Wulstan’s RC Church, Great Harwood, conducted by FR. Ethelbert Arua. Followed by cremation at Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Road, Accrington.
