WendyMAYESOn 18th January Wendy of Clifton Avenue Accrington died peacefully at Royal Blackburn Hospital aged 70. Loving wife to David, cherished mother of Sarah and devoted Grandma to Harry also a dearly loved Aunt & friend. Wendy a former hotelier was the owner of Maple Lodge Hotel in Clayton le Moors until her retirement. She also worked as a carer for Crossroads & for a time worked at White Ash school. Wendy was a keen baker & would make beautiful celebration cakes for friends & family. Her funeral will be held on Monday 6th February at Accrington Crematorium at 3pm. Family flowers only but donations can be made in her memory to Macmillan Cancer Support. Funeral Director Hyndburn Funeral Service Queens Road Accrington.
