MariaMARINAKIOur beloved mother - Maria Marinaki - left this realm on August the 2nd, 2021 in the UK to join my father Georgios. Mary was of Greek Origin but a citizen of the world. One of the original Coca Cola girls for Greek Ads and having advertised other famous product lines in the fashion & make up industry - her passion for travelling lead her to work at Olympic Airways. Mary had the luxury of travelling all over the world with my father and offered my brother and I the indulgence from a very young age to experience different cultures, food, and sceneries. Mary was the heart and soul of our family, bonding each one of us with her smile, kind words, compassion, love, intelligence, care but more importantly her unique presence and warm glow which filled up every room and hugged us in the most tender way. Irrespective whether we were in the UK or another place on earth - Mum was always there for us, next to us, at every step of our lives supporting us to dream higher and reach the unreachable. A Church service in memory of Maria will take place on Thursday, 19th of August at St Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, W2 4LQ, followed by a burial at St Edward Brotherhood Cemetery in Brookwood, GU24 0BL. A Beloved Mother, a Cherished Wife and a Dear Friend, who has helped so many people and families around the world in so many different ways. "Mama" May your soul rest in peace.
