MartinMARAISWe are deeply saddened by the passing of our incredibly loved dad,
lovingly known as pops, Martin Marais, who left us on 24th March, aged 68.
He was a devoted husband to Linda, father to Tracey, Michelle and Chris
and grandfather to Jules, Kieran and Emilio, whose kindness, wisdom, and gentle humour
touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Dad was a man of quiet strength and unwavering love for his family,
always lighting up the room and making everyone at ease whenever he was around.
It was truly a privilege having him by our side.
The world will not quite be the same without him, and he will be forever missed.
Although it is goodbye for now, we know we will meet you again one day.

A funeral service to celebrate Martin's life will take place
on Friday 17th April at East Devon Crematorium at 1pm.
In keeping with Martin's vibrant spirit, we kindly ask guests to wear colourful clothing
rather than traditional black.

In addition, family flowers only and donations in Martin's memory if desired to Force Cancer.

Any enquiries to
Crews & Sons Funeral Directors, Exmouth.

Dearest pops

You have been my hero since the day I first opened my eyes when I arrived on this earth and when I got given the absolute privilege of being chosen as your daughter. Throughout my life you have been nothing but amazing and someone who brightened each and every day, a person who lit up the room and made everyone at ease from the moment they met you.

I am going to miss u so much with each passing day but feel blessed with having had such an out of this world dad, truly one in a million.

Your legacy will live on with all your grandchildren and Max loves you to the end of the world.

Thank you for being so great, I will love you always.

Tracey xx

"To my dear brother-in-law, Martin. You were the definition of a true gentleman, always leading with kindness and a wonderful sense of humour that could brighten any room. My dearest Martin. My suitcase buddy..... (no not the kind we pack to go on holiday) Always the neutral person. Caring without ever imposing. Always cared enough to listen to everyone. We honour the wonderful man Martin was. The true definition of unconditional love (especially to his family). He was a rare soul who walked through life with a gentle heart, caring for everyone deeply without every taking sides. A genuine "good man". His warmth will be missed far and wide. May your dear soul Rest in Peace Martin. All out love to Linda, Christopher, Tracy, Michelle and their families. Lots of love Sandy,Tyler and Travis
