Thomas Linden (Mick)MALPASSSadly passed away peacefully at Royal Derby Hospital on Friday 21st November 2025, aged 95 years.

Much loved husband to Jill for 71 years, loving Dad of Elaine and Neil, Grandad to Lorna, Ian, Shane and Jade and Great Grandad to Bobby, Leo, Chace, Livia and Rory.

Mick lived at Cadley Hill Care Home, Swadlincote after living in Chellaston for 59 years and Crewe for 34 years.

A service to celebrate Mick's life will be held on Monday, 15th December at 10am in the Willow Room, Bretby Crematorium.

Family Flowers only. Donations in lieu can be made to Parkinson's UK at www.parkinsons.org.uk

I was very sad to learn of Mick's passing.

I lived next to him in Chellaston for 20 years, and I learned much about the history of Chellaston from Mick.

Chellaston has lost a very good friend.
