Just came across this sad news that my "cousin" Damian has died. Damian was the son of my mum's best friend Sylvia, and was something of a hero in our house when I was growing up. I remember a fantastic sense of humour and a real determination to live life (is spite of all the difficulties he faced) to the full. Happy times bumping into him, shopping in town and popping upstairs with him to the old Debenhams cafe for a cake and some pop! And many visits to Granada studios to watch recordings of, Lift of with Ayshea and The Krypton Factor. Good old Damian, the sweetest guy from a truly lovely family. Always miss you and the gang on Christmas mornings...Rest in peace chum, God Bless Mark (Scholes)
