NancyMACDONALDand family would like to thank everyone who paid their last respects at the church and gave so generously the approximate sum of £500. Thank you to friends and neighbours for their thoughtful cards and flowers. A special thanks to my grandson Mark for the lovely way he spoke about his papa and to our nephew Peter who sang Hector's favourite song beautifully. Our grateful thanks to the Rev. June Cloggie for her comforting words to us at home and during the church service. Our thanks also to Eric Brown and Shona at the Roman Camp Hotel for giving us a very warm welcome and a lovely meal. A special thanks to Andrew Anderson & Son for their very efficient and caring funeral arrangements, with a big thank you to Ross for his gentle and caring attention. Finally, to the carers at Fairview Nursing Home who took great care of Hector while he was there.
