Marcia was far more than just an employee, she was the very heart of the shop and a familiar, warm face to everyone in the Haslingden community. For years, she greeted every customer with a genuine smile, boundless kindness, and a wonderful sense of humour that brightened even the greyest mornings. Her dedication to her work and her unwavering warmth made a lasting impression on everyone who walked through our doors. She knew our customers by name, remembered their stories, and brought a unique sense of family and togetherness to Deardengate News. The shop simply has not been the same without her presence, but her memory will remain woven into the fabric of our community. We extend our deepest condolences to Marcia’s family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Rest in peace, Marcia. You will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
