Georgina AdrienneLORDIt is with broken hearts that we share the sad news that our beloved wife, mum, grandma and sister,
Georgina Adrienne Lord, passed away peacefully on July 28, aged 78.
Georgina was the devoted wife of Stephen for 57 wonderful years, a much-loved mum to Tabatha and Danyal,
and a proud and loving grandma to Lysander, Heathcliff and Mallory.
Born and raised in Rossendale, Georgina spent her whole life surrounded by the family and friends she loved.
She was a talented dance teacher who ran her own dance school for many years, sharing her love of dance with children of all ages. She had a passion for writing and wrote several books, as well as many beautiful poems.
In her quieter moments, she enjoyed tapestry.
Georgina was the heart of our family. She was caring, selfless, strong and endlessly patient,
always putting everyone else before herself. Her warmth, kindness and beautiful smile could light up any room,
and she had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome.
She will be forever loved, deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Georgina's funeral took place on Wednesday, August 12, Burnley Crematorium.
