I first met Paul back in the 80s when he was sales and marketing director for First Leisure. At agency GSB in Birmingham we worked for him on launches of Bars & Nightclubs including working with hospitality brands that Paul, in his own inimitable style, had encouraged to them give him promotional budgets. So many memories of this period, crazy deadlines all orchestrated by Paul.
We kept in touch over the years, worked on some joint projects and Paul running his marketing courses for many hospitality companies. Worked with him and our mutual friend James Mawer to take these courses on line as LGM training.
He never changed, didn't take himself too seriously and his infectious personality always present. He had his own style, in all forms of communication and who can forget his emails that used every font and every size!
I lost touch recently but will miss you old friend, Thanks for the memories.

I knew Paul for over 20 years when we used to network over breakfast weekly, he became a great friend and was such a lovely, genuine man with a cheeky grin and a wonderful sense of humour. Loved his stories of the nightclubs he ran and the stars he'd met. he will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. RIP Paul.
