David was one of my first clients to care for independently, and he’ll always hold a special place in my heart. he was understandably a little reluctant to accept help at first. But I’ll always remember the day I made him a bacon and egg sandwich with fried bread — and I finally won him over and he remembered my name! I’ll always be grateful that I got to know David and be a small part of his life. It’s been an absolute pleasure to care for him, and I’ll miss seeing his face and having those little moments that became part of my routine.
Rest peacefully, David. Thank you for being one of the people who reminded me why I chose this career. You’ll be fondly remembered and sadly missed. ❤️🕊️Isha HI

I met David and Hazel when they sailed to Ireland in their yacht and berthed in Dun Laoire. Their self reliance, love of life and sense of adventure was evident. I have also often heard of their great kindness to their dear nephew David, and their love and support for him which was transformative. I am so glad that they were all able to remain in each others' lives to the last. May they rest in peace.
