The obituary notice of John Barrie LEE

I was saddened to hear of John's passing.
I am Becky Collier, the Manager of CPRE Somerset and, unfortunately, have only just heard the news, via his cancelled membership. I would have liked to have come to his funeral.

John was a great help and a good friend to me when I first started this job in 2009 and we worked together for many years, with him as our Treasurer. We used to have meetings at John's house and Barbara would bring in the tea and cakes! He worked so hard for our charity and really cared for the Somerset countryside.

I am glad he reached such a grand old age but I know the last few years would have been tough without Barbara as they were so close.
