A much loved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, friend and colleague. Gordon was a generous, charming, sociable and very kind man. He adored his family and loved his many friends and colleagues. He had a wonderful sense of humour and the ability to laugh at himself. Gordon worked for the Open University for 40 years and remained passionate about the role it played in widening educational opportunities. Gordon was a very special man who is missed and remembered with love every day.
