Alison MargaretKIRK(nee McGee) Ron, Charlotte, Stewart and Joan would like to thank everybody who attended Alison's funeral on 16th May for their support and good wishes and for giving her the send off she wanted. Also for all the cards and condolences the family have received, we know that everyone who came into contact with Alison would agree that their lives were improved by knowing her. Special thanks must be given to all the staff at both St. Cuthbert's Hospice and Ward 11 of North Durham University Hospital for making her latter few weeks more bearable. Special mention must be given to all the staff and volunteers at the Woodlands Unit at Shotley Bridge Hospital and the Macmillan Nursing staff for their care and devotion to Alison over the last three years.
