JaniceKENNEDYSuddenly but peacefully at home with her husband by her side Janice Marina Kennedy, nee Watson, aged 64. Dearly loved wife to John, devoted mum to Diane and David, dear step mum to John and Tracy, cherished nana to Lois, much loved sister to Stuart and the late Alan, also a dear sister-in-law, auntie, friend and carer to many. Janice spent 30 years of her life dedicated to caring for others and was a well respected member of the working team at Springhill House Care Home before leaving due to ill health. Janice thoroughly enjoyed caring for others and put everyone before herself - she was truly a selfless person. In her spare time Janice loved to read, especially biographies and true stories. Music was a big part of her life, listening to Elton John, Queen and The Bay City Rollers. Janice looked forward to holidays - especially to Menorca. She loved soaking up the rays and enjoyed the hot weather. Becoming a nana to Lois was a special time for Janice; she adored her granddaughter and would do anything for her. Together they loved to bake and dance around to their favourite music. Janice will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her. Janice’s funeral service will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Friday, February 11 at 1.40pm. Family flowers only please; donations are being gratefully received on behalf of East Lancashire Hospice c/o champfunerals.com/ obituaries. Funeral director: Champ Funeral Services, Clayton-le-Moors.
