AldredKATHLEEN(née Melling) Kathleen Aldred passed away peacefully on Saturday 13th August 2016 at Woodlands, Clayton-leMoors, aged 88 years. Devoted wife of 28 years to the late Edwin, beloved mum of Michael, Julie and the late Catherine and much loved mother-in-law of Sue and Des. Cherished nanna of Jessica, Graeme, Gemma, Rhiannon and Noah and great-grandmother of Toby, Ava and Rosie. Fond companion of Ronnie Waterhouse (dec). A Requiem Mass will be held at 1.15pm at our Lady and St. Hubert's Church, Great Harwood on Monday 22nd August prior to a cremation (family only) at Accrington Crematorium. A gathering to celebrate Kathleen's life will be held at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Blackburn Road, Clayton-le-Moors at 3.00pm. Kathleen would have said that sombre colours are optional.
