Thomas JamesJOYCEOn the 1st November 2016, suddenly but peacefully fell asleep surrounded by his loving family whilst in hospital. Tom of Atherton, Manchester, formerly of Lissavalley, Barnaderg, Tuam, Co. Galway, Eire, Thomas James, aged 79 years. Much loved Dad to Michael and Partner Janet, Kevin and Wife Sharon, Marie and Husband Russell and Caroline and Husband David. Beloved Son of the late Patrick and Celia Joyce, Grandad to Laura and Partner Tom, Luke and Wife Emily, Ava, Tyrone and Dominic, Amii, Joshua and Holly, Great-Grandad to Millie, Thomas, Eva and Ralph, Brother to Mary, Catherine, Billy, Frank, the late Patrick, the late Michael and their families. Remembering also at this time Thomas's five Brothers who passed away in infancy - Martin, John, James, Anthony and Joseph. Thomas was a very dear and respected friend to many. He will be very sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. Thomas will be received into St. Richards RC Church, Atherton for overnight repose on Thursday 17th November 2016. Requiem Mass to be celebrated on Friday 18th November 2016 at 12 noon at St. Richards RC Church, Atherton, followed by interment at Howebridge Cemetery at 1.30pm.
