William JohnJONESTrevor (Trevor) 01.08.1930 - 22.03.2008 It is with much sadness that the family announce the death of Trevor who passed away March 22 at University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. Trevor was the devoted husband of 53 years to Joan, loved father to Stephen and Peter, father-in-law to Julia, grandfather to Emma, Gavin, Joanne, Lauren, great-grandfather to Connor. Trevor was the devoted elder brother to Raymond, Desmond, Alan, Eirwen, Mary and the late Tommy who all lived their early lives in Merthyr Vale. The family would like to give sincere thanks to family, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy and support, and the many generous donations made to the British Heart Foundation in lieu of flowers which amounted to £400. A thank you also to those who attended the funeral service at St Tydfil Parish Church and the interment at Pant Cemetery. Our many thanks to Minister Mathew Tricker for his words of comfort and moving tribute to Trevor. Also our thanks to the West End Bowls Club for the preparation of a lovely buffet. Finally, our thanks to Allan and Derek Davies Funeral Services Ltd, for his guidance and who carried out the funeral arrangements with much dignity and respect.
